We’re absolutely loving this gigantic necklace – so big it as to be referred to as a neck piece from talented designer Natalie Brown. Autumnal and lovely, it’s like wearing the shadows from a weeping fern around your neck, and will add substance and character to your look.

One of the most un-high street items to be found on the high street this season is this intriguing silver-toned metal box clutch at French Connection. Engraved with an intricate pattern and metallic throughout, the bag actually looks more ‘vintage’ in real life than in this pic (it has an aged, bronzey tint to it) and is bound to attract attention.

First and foremost, let’s all give a round of applause to Clemence Poesy/Eva/Frenchie for managing to say “Old Chuck, bad Chuck, new Chuck, good Chuck” in her non-native language and without struggling, stammering or making a face. I had a hard enough time just typing it (for some reason, the phrase came out with every word capitalized the first time), and I dare not attempt to say it out loud. What we saw may have been her 50th take, for all we know, but I’m not even sure I could do it with that many tries.
