What better way to celebrate the latest chocolate'y addition to the Cadbury Dairy milk fam than with equally tasty treats for your tips? “The rich cocoa colour of the chocolate was a perfect reference for the brown tone that is going to be across all the high streets next season,” explains Heather Steele , Color Stylist for nails inc. about Cadbury Dairy Milk Bliss, an indulgent milk chocolate-enrobed vanilla mousse confection launching in the UK this month.

PurseBlog Poll: Are you over studs?

While shoe shopping yesterday, I encountered a sales associate that very much wanted to tell me all about the trends for Fall 2010. I worked retail in college, so I never mind letting someone do their sales spiel without interruption, even if I already know what it’s going to contain

‘Plastic/Paper’ wallet by Red Ruby Rouge

Seen from the outside, it’s a smart if plain black wallet, obviously well made from high quality materials but otherwise nothing too special. But open it up and this item reveals its true ‘purse’onality, with a fun, bold and quirky design, which organises your moolah into paper and plastic.

Natalie Brown fern-leaf neckpiece

We’re absolutely loving this gigantic necklace – so big it as to be referred to as a neck piece from talented designer Natalie Brown. Autumnal and lovely, it’s like wearing the shadows from a weeping fern around your neck, and will add substance and character to your look.

Engraved metal box clutch at French Connection

One of the most un-high street items to be found on the high street this season is this intriguing silver-toned metal box clutch at French Connection. Engraved with an intricate pattern and metallic throughout, the bag actually looks more ‘vintage’ in real life than in this pic (it has an aged, bronzey tint to it) and is bound to attract attention.

Fashion Week Handbags: Louis Vuitton Spring 2011

In hindsight, perhaps last season’s demure, ladylike Louis Vuitton show should have tipped us off that Louis Vuitton Spring 2011 would be a wild, colorful ride through safari and Asian kitsch. Creative director Marc Jacobs doesn’t like to go in any one direction for more than a few moments at a time, and a collection with a strong point of view is always a good indication that the next collection will be just as strong, but in the opposite direction

Ever Wonder How it Feels to Get Shot?

WWF’s latest campaign uses augmented reality to raise awareness for the endangered Siberian tiger by demonstrating how it “feels” to be hunted down and shot. Created by Leo Burnett Moscow , thousands of special AR t-shirts featuring the tiger were printed and distributed to stores in Moscow. Each time the wearer passes in front of a “special video mirror” (re: web cam), a bloody shooting animation is triggered.

Luxury Yacht Sales INDEPENDENCE Builder: Perini Navi

When thinking about how brutal this economy has been for regular Joe’s and Jane’s of the world, one might think that something like a luxury yacht wouldn’t be a high-valued item. However, large yachts are still being built, bought and sold in today’s market. One yacht currently for sale is the impressive Perini Navi-built Independence

Watch Alexander McQueen Spring 2011!

Alexander McQueen Spring 2011 may not be directly handbag related (only one purse was presented during this show, a Skull Clutch covered with weathered gold leaves), but the brand’s first post-McQueen collection is certainly of note. Sarah Burton, McQueen’s new creative director, did an extraordinary job of putting a new spin on the company’s legacy, despite having what Style.com called the most “thankless task in fashion.” Make sure you watch all the way through to see the show’s truly dazzling finale dresses

Gossip Girl: “How can she even see times through all that sparkly?”

First and foremost, let’s all give a round of applause to Clemence Poesy/Eva/Frenchie for managing to say “Old Chuck, bad Chuck, new Chuck, good Chuck” in her non-native language and without struggling, stammering or making a face. I had a hard enough time just typing it (for some reason, the phrase came out with every word capitalized the first time), and I dare not attempt to say it out loud. What we saw may have been her 50th take, for all we know, but I’m not even sure I could do it with that many tries.

Paloma Faith nearly loses her luggage…

Flamboyant singer Paloma Faith looked like she was having a gay old time as she emerged from the Le Caprice restaurant in London last night, but we’re a little concerned about her treatment of that delightful vintage-looking handbag she’s swinging – or perhaps more importantly, its contents.
