This past Sunday, we had our Midwest Blogger Meetup in Chicago, at PJ Clarke’s Restaurant in the Gold Coast part of downtown. Everyone was SO gorgeous! And extremely nice! What a pleasure it was to spend a beautiful afternoon in Chicago with these loverly ladies. It’s nice to be able to put a physical being with the face found behind so many blogs.

one sure fire way to get a dirty look from a stranger, go into a non-Starbucks coffee shop and ask the guy behind the counter for an venti coffee. for all those who poo-poo on the chain-y-ness of Starbucks, there has not been a coffeehause (other than Intelligentsia ) that has a rock-my-boat taste and espresso kick as good ole Starbucks. honest to goodness truth
