Prada Launches their Jazzy New Collection of "Swing" Sunglasses

If you're a jazz musician & you wanna swing, it's all about the flow from one chord to another; if you're a fashionista, it's all about the lithe lines of this groovy new Prada eyewear. Vaguely 50s-meets-90s, these new Swing Sunglasses are a fun way to rock the mid-century trend without looking too retro. The new Prada Autumn/Winter 2010 campaign similarly plays on the theme of past-meets-future, with model Angela Lindvall as a torch singer in a world of pastel hues, prints, the 50s silhouettes of the Fall collection, plus an added touch of 18th century Baroque – but all remixed for our post-modern century

Ferragamo Gets Back to Nature for its Fall/Winter 2010 Campaign

The new Salvatore Ferragamo ad campaign for F/W features a very country squire-chic mix of “moments of leisure” juxtaposed against “primordial nature” – and what better backdrop than the exclusive White Oak Plantation at the border between Georgia and Florida? White Oak is a natural park and wildlife conservation center, home to animals at risk of extinction that enables them to reproduce in a protected setting before they are released back into their natural habitats. Shot by Bruce Weber, the talent includes models Stella Tenant, Bimba Bosé and Kirsten Owen with her two children – all depicting a life of outdoor games, relaxed elegance, and tranquil time with the fam

Should Christian Louboutin stick to shoes?

Christian Louboutin has been far more successful with shoes than he has been with bags, and I’m having a hard time figuring out exactly why that is. Surely the design processes for each is decidedly differently, but for a brand with as many resources and as much style as Louboutin’s, I would expect better results.

Name that Bag! Kelly Rowland

I’m always a tad bit embarrassed when I can’t identify a bag. I spend 40-plus hours a week contemplating purses, and at a certain point, I feel like I’ve seen almost every handbag that the fashion world has to offer. Just when I get comfortable in that feeling, some handbag always comes along to knock me off my high horse

A Fun Tory Burch Interview by eBay’s Style Director, Constance White

When she first launched her eponymous fashion & lifestyle line in February 2004, Tory Burch went against the minimalist trend so popular at the time, designing her downtown NYC flagship to feel less like a “store” and more like you were visiting her home, complete with touches like orange lacquer doors, mirrored walls, and Lucite fixtures. And when Oprah named her a new designer “to watch”…8 million hits later and an empire was launched on the heels – or, in this case, flats: the iconic gold-medallion adorned “Reva” ballet slipper. “My mother Reva has been a huge influence in my life both personally and professionally,” the designer tells Constance in a new interview on eBay's The Inside Source .

Which is why the American Academy of Dermatology recommends that, regardless of skin type, you wear a water-resistant sunscreen with a Sun Protection Factor (SPF) of at least 30 year-round that includes broad-spectrum protections against both UVB (burning rays) and sneaky UVA rays – which, unlike UVBs, are present even on cloudy days, can pass through glass, and are able to penetrate much deeper into your skin’s layers. “A well formulated sunscreen rated SPF 15 or greater (and greater is better) is a daily must!” agrees beauty and skincare expert Paula Begoun , author of “Don’t Go to the Beauty Counter Without Me” & “The Original Beauty Bible.” “To avoid as much sun damage as possible, make sure any sunscreen you’re considering contains one or more of these active ingredients: titanium dioxide, zinc oxide, avobenzone, ecamsule (Mexoryl SX) or, outside the U.S., Tinosorb
